Just added a couple of tracks from a show we played in the Effenaar, Eindhoven on May 11, 1985. This was recorded by our good friend Carlos Van Hijfte and is from a whole show that he recorded. The recording has only recently surfaced and I’ll add tracks as they become available. It is a great show from a period that is not very well represented by live recordings. We were trying to figure out how to incorporate pedal steel and we were in the process of putting Born Sandy Devotional together.

Tracks just added (to join Field Of Glass that’s been there a while) are Property Is Condemned and Lonely Stretch. Property has a great intro and is a reminder of what a fine song it is, something of a favourite in the low countries then and even today thanks to Harald’s renditions at our shows in 2006 and 2010. Lonely Stretch was yet to be recorded and it’s slightly different in arrangement but surprisingly close to the song we know from Born Sandy Devotional.

Both these tracks are available under the audio link – Field Of Glass versions have their own category and the other two tracks can be found under the “Triffids” category.
