Some new audio for you. I have posted the first part of a live show (I think it’s the Shaftesbury Hotel in 1982 or 1983 but if anyone knows for certain get in touch). The recording is pretty good and the show was sold on a cassette on the Lock Up Your Cats tour. The Triffids didn’t have a keyboard player at the time and is an interesting transitional sound that we can hear. Dave seemed to be trying to make some of the poppier songs sound a bit more grown up some of the darker songs are starting to appear.

Thanks to Karen Bayly for the cassette. I realise now that I have heard this show but I didn’t have all of it. Family Name from this show appears on the Come Ride With Me 10 CD box.

I’ll get the whole show up as soon as I get the chance.
