"Interesting to see Sascha Ion on that 3rrr list markt - did you end up get that CD?

I went to the Sascha Ion CD launch late last month at The Empress - whatavoice!  No wonder she made the RRR list.  I highly recommend the CD too.

hi Redenovo

sorry mfp, I missed this -the sascha ion cd one of 3 great  'out of perth' releases so far this year, Abbe May 'Howl and Moan' and Snowman 'horse, the rat and the swan' are the others. There might be 4- is the shevendes album is out yet?

BTW I think the song was incidental to the list - it was just the show outro.

Aah yes - thought it was strange. She deserves to be on the lis though!  Her last band One Horse Town was pretty rockin too.

Schvendes album was released last weekend, I believe but I haven't heard it.  Absolutely love the 'Howl and Moan' album - saw Abbe on her recent trip through Victoria, and she's the real deal.

mark, I thought you weren't talking to me no more...!

Yep as Redenovo said, #4, Schvendes' album is out now, at last! Just uploading some street press reviews of both Schvendes and Snowman launch shows, both of which I attended - definitely highlights of the year for me (except for Sydney in January of course!).  Its great to be in Perth right now I tell ya!
