a while back, in one of the more obscure postings on this forum, there was a discussion of the environmental impacts on this bit of coast, based on the 1968 photo

It'd take less than three words to describe the current state!

Just been over in the galleries having a look at the Google Earth shot of Mandurah and it seems that there has been a recent junkmail attack. A Dot On The Map is the worst, but some of the other sub-galleries have been attacked as well. Looks like it might be time to disable, and delete, guest posts in there.

I thought I'd done that last time. What a pointless excercise on the part of whoever does these things.

how history gets re-written- the ebay way

ONE FOR THE COLLECTORS
WIDE OPEN ROAD - The Triffids
LIMITED EDITION PROMO SINGLE - issued May 2006 in Australia only.
For sale today is a rare Promo CDS of The Triffids' classic track Wide Open Road.

Although this disc only contains the one (1) track, the true Trffids collector will be wanting to own this gem purely on the strength of the front cover artwork, which features an image that was an early (and later discarded) choice to occupy the front cover of the album Born Sandy Devotional.

Item is NEW and that means UNPLAYED too, dude..
Label : Liberation Records (Australia)
Serial No. : TRIFFIDS 2

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=110167895756&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=001

I like the authoritative ring to it. Still, it makes a good story ::)

It's well known that God can travel back in time and change things. Of all people, you should know that, Mark.
