No, me neither (and I eat more fruit that your average punter). I bought a pack of three lemons at the weekend though. Not sure what I'll do with them, so times can't be that tough.

What's a ten pound (whinging) pom worth these days?

Not as much as they used to be, I'm sorry to say. Though I did like the way you worked Limeys into the discussion, Urpal. BTW, 50 cents each at Geelong Fresh Foods this morning, I bought 4.

Thanks for the tunes, Mr Glee.

yes,I think the author is gilding the lime a bit there. Can`t recall ever paying anything like that much for a lime before.I do recall bananas getting up near the price of gold a year or 2 ago when a cyclone flattened most of North Qld but that was extenuating circumstances
At the risk of interrupting the vibe, the first verse reminds me a lot of the first verse of evil feelings, the Dave  lyric that Matt Walker added music to in his Wminc days.Dave seemed to like the "watery end" imagery.
lovely song.a rough demo becomes a decent song with the addition of tasteful piano and guitar.God bless you glee

Kind of what I meant by recycling. Lyrics are from here and there. The demo by the way is as it was, nothing added. Or taken away.

As long as there's no gelding the limey involved, I think we're OK with that...

It could be sold as organic then commanding a higher price methinks......

I like the clunky bits. They somehow make you feel more present in the moment. An edited version might make it more like a portrait hanging on a wall. Great to look at, but not as involving.
