I forgot all about the Sigur Ros free CD thingy Embarrassed Sorry, lonesome. And also to Gazza. I hope someone else heard your plea and went more purposefully towards a newsagent on Sunday than I did.

Sorry, didn't buy it. Didn't seem much point as it was just three tracks off each of the last three albums.

[EDIT - almost right, this is the tracklisting according to Pitchfork
01 Hoppípolla
02 Inní mér syngur vitleysingur
03 Saeglópur
04 Gobbledigook
05 Í Gær
06 Fljótavík
07 Hafsól
08 Heysátan
09 Ti Ki]

winston, when they were younger and cuter they played rockabilly and were The Slaptones. Enjoy.

I've seen them (The Slaptones) live in a small pub. Must check out the Baskery!

-"Baskery" ??- You mean "BAKERY" I presume, the ARTS supported venue in Northbridge West where "Rocket To Memphis" (Perth's own Vaudevilleburlesquebilly heros) played a week or so ago ?? Bakery was also the the name of one of Perth's SEMINAL hippy/prog bands in the early/mid '70's featuring members that would go on to both ROCKIER and MOR -(Middle OF the Road) -ier things...

I stumbled across this, started at Vol 1 and goes up to 10.  Over 200 freebies and a labour of love. Obviously quite a bit of filler, but worth exploring for lovers of pop.

Happy Christmas....
