Interview from 1983
« on: June 05, 2013, 11:38:17 PM »
I've posted an interview kindly loaned to me by Karen Bayly. Pat Monaghan and Peter Bonner and possibly Michael Shuttleworth conducted this interview in Happy Wheels parked outside the Shaftesbury Hotel on January 2nd 1983. It's a fascinating slice of history and we hear from Dave, Marty, Alsy and Rob through the course of it. You can almost feel the heat, smell the stuffy interior of the van and sense the ambition and drive that took the band a long way from the Shaftesbury Hotel pretty quickly.

That's great. Young but prescient.
