Box Set reissue
« on: December 06, 2011, 11:40:34 AM »
As there was such a small issue of the box set and all copies have now been sold (and changing hands on Ebay for a lot of money) is it possible that the set will be reissued?

Failing that does anyone have a set that they are willing to part with without breaking my piggy bank?

Genkboy, thanks for letting me know,  I have ordered the boxset. I was reluctant to post beforehand in case anyone got in before me.
It was a little difficult at first as the site was not in english, so I had to email the guys and they were able to help me process the order.
I also noticed that they had lots of other cool stuff in stock.

Thanks again.

I was also asleep at the wheel when these boxed sets first came out. Just missed out on a Bilbo copy, but I did a search tonight and found a new copy through Amazon USA. Try the first seller at this URL:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B003CN34GO/ref=dp_olp_0?ie=UTF8&redirect=true&condition=all

I just ordered one now - only $99 US (plus shipping). I'm assuming its still in stock and all kosher as per the web site. I think its coming sea mail (no other option) so it will be a while before it gets here. A small part of my brain is telling me the seller is going to come back to me and say "sorry, we're out of stock, better luck next time", but I will let you know... in one to two months!

"Shipping estimate: January 17, 2012 - January 18, 2012
Delivery estimate: February 15, 2012 - March 19, 2012"

Sorry, it seems that first seller has disappeared now. Maybe sold out...?

$195 now from the next seller.  :(

After listening to disc 2 with all those singles and EP's (finally on CD), I am convinced Dave McComb's finest song-writing period was around that time, with songs like Reverie, Joan of Arc, Being Driven, Bad Timing and Beautiful Waste - nary a dry eye in the house whenever I hear that last one.
