Does anyone else on the forum have kids that are into The Triffids? My 4 year old son Jack loves "Farmers never visit nightclubs". Every time I play it he insists on putting it on repeat  Smiley

The lonesomegirlies are not into The Triffids yet, but I'm waiting patiently.

And "Farmers never visit nightclubs": sounds like we have our first Triffhit for the Triffkids! Wink

Mine are fairly sniffy about Dadmusic - but then they're a bit older than 4. They think Once A Day is quite amusing but I tend to get tolerant looks for anything else. I'm dreading the box set...

Oh there's probably a lot they'll really get into. Butterfly, Out Of Tune, the previously mentioned Farmers, Surfer Boy In Leather to name but four.

Mine generally hold my musical tastes in contempt, though there is some overlap in more recent artists. I have, as yet, failed to move them with the wonders of The Triffids. I live in hope.

PK's, it's raining pleasure's DOP, son Arthur loves Jerdacuttup Man and used it for school show and tell. It almost got all to confusing when I offered him the original Calenture version, the extras from In the Pines version and then Graham's it's raining pleasure version.
I think he just went with the Calenture version.

Yup, my lad (six, so not old enough to think/realise I'm a sad old twat ) loves Once a Day - and doesn't half mind Save What You Can.

But Jaffs, Goodbye Little Boy has a *gasp* swear in it!

What kind of child are you raising?   Wink

That said, my near four year old girl has got herself fixated on Danger! High Voltage by the Electric Six.

I'm not going to be slipping Gay Bar into her playlist anytime soon.

Two Triffkids here. Kathryn (named after K Williams) is a bit young - 9 months. But Billy - 3 - has definitely got the hang of Trick of the Light

Aaaawww! Congrats to you both.  Smiley And to Perrymonkey too.

A forum baby. A proud moment. Can I suggest Cassiel as a name? Or maybe 'Evil'?
