David and Alsy as "The Gary Meadows Syndrome"

Whilst not strictly a Triffids gig I did see David and Alsy play a one off gig in Perth in the 80's as The Gary Meadows Syndrome.  They mainly played covers and were supported by The Marigolds. The venue?- possibly the Silver Slipper or The Broadway but I am willing to be corrected. My claim to fame is sitting on a couch next to Alsy and Jill before the gig began that night....
