Who said man can't turn back time! This band can for sure.

Just read about it: coming to Greece on 23rd of April, 2010 at Gagarin 205 Live Music Space.

Despite the scary times of '88, we have great affection for Athens. We were the first non-Greek band to play at the Rose Club and we had a great time. Even did a bit of sight seeing. We're looking forward to it.

If you are planning on doing any sightseeing this time around be especially careful when crossing the rhodes  Smiley Or even stick to the ferry.
 The ferry & dolphins are marvellous.

What is Gagarin Music Space? I like the sound of it.

...but then it is no less than the Berlin Porn Film Festival, which must surely be the creme de la creme of porn festivals (if you'll pardon the expression Smiley).

Judging from the website, it looks like a good venue.

Is the Rodon still about? How do the two compare, LinuxRules?

As far as I can tell (me living in Patras, 200km from Athens), Rodon is not around any more. I've been there a couple of times in the late 80s.

I've also been to Gagarin 205 once (2006), and I think it's beyond comparison.

Any thoughts on joining the event of 23rd of April here in Greece, Urpal?

BTW will you guys (the band) be at any other venue in Europe by that time?

I'd certainly like to be there in Athens for The Triffids return. The idea of a gig in a med climate appeals. I havent in my forty odd yet &, despite passing thru & even stopping over in Athens on several occasions, have yet to see the sights. London & Belgium are still more likely, but that's more on account of economics & convenience than anything else.

Id love to gig at the gag.
