Thanks all for the positive comments.

I heard Charles Jenkins' version of Raining Pleasure on radio this morning so it is getting out there a bit more. The gestation period has been nearly 18 months...(!) and we have some more 'fanfare' planned... I am doing a couple of ABC radio interviews this week and there is print media stuff planned. Please keep spreading the good word among the faithful with my thanks!: it's a great help to the project.

Also: we have partial audio samples streaming at the order page now if those curious wish to listen before they buy, just go to the store location posted in the special offers section to sample these.

Looking forward to mine. It shouldn't take too long to get to the UK but then it'll have the postal strike to contend with Embarrassed

At least one copy made its way all the way to Belgium. Great stuff indeed!

Also in the far east of Belgium it has arrived and I just listened to it. Thanks, Jonathan, it's great.

btw, I was wondering if there still is any stuff out there that has been left out of the release .

Great to have this, thank you. I'm particularly glad to have a recording of 'The Good Life Never Ends'.

It is a far, far better thing that I do now, than that other thing I did before that didn't go very well at all.

Genkboy: all the tracks were pretty much selected before we mixed them all; so there were no mixed songs that didn't make the final cut as it were. There are other songs that were recorded but that weren't mixed,  but I strongly doubt there is enough for a part 2 or anything like that, if that's what you meant. Really glad you're enjoying it.

Got my copy today - thanks very much. I am really enjoying it. Diving Bell's Tender is the night in slightly singalong styleee is a favourite so far.....as are the Susans songs, particularly Blackeyed Susan and The Good Life Never Ends

Jonathan, I was thinking maybe those rough recordings could be made available through download (at a small cost).

doubtful at this point: wouldn't do this with unmixed versions; would have to clear them with bands, etc etc etc... a bit time consuming when you're also trying to make a film:)!

So, anyone discovered the hidden track yet?

No! Where is it? Do I just flip the disc and see what happens?

Could it be that as often, the truth is somewhere in the middle? Huh Just a wild and desperate guess!

A:
I think so! (at a place where hidden tracks often appear).
Am I right when I suppose that the title of the album figures here?

Can't help with the hidden track mystery, but I now have the CD and given it a part listen. It's much better than I had expected. Top marks to Tornado.

So far I've particularly enjoyed the BES tracks and the Diving Bell windy take on Red Pony.

The accordian on Curse On You adds a new dimension, as does the changed arrangement. Loved the unexpected descending accordian part, which can only be described as Brelian, that happens somewhere along the line. I assume that's JP Shilo up to tricks?
