BES put in a spirited performance before a smallish crowd in Brisbane last night-5 piece.Hell of a long time since they`ve been up here.Liberal sprinkling of McComb compositions-pretty much as they were doing down south.Crowd of over 30 something punters seemed to enjoy..
Interested to read Phil K`s comments in the local street press that he thought it likely there would be another BES album
Ben Salter (Gin Club) supported and did a solo acoustic version of Suntrapper.More reasons to love the Gin Club

And in this interview Phil gives a good account of his future hopes for the BES. Looking at the photo, well,  if it's only half time, the lads better pull up their socks.
