... and delivered three lovely new re-isssue CDs. I'm listening as I write to Treeless Plain and I have to say I am amazad at how good Nick Mainsbridge's remix is. It really is a different album. Easily as good as its successors. This has made my day/month Grin

That's wonderful to hear and a dream come true. I was always convinced that the original album didn't do the band justice and, as they say, better late than never.

My CDs turning up this morning as well. And very lovely they are. As I'd never heard some of the songs before (hello "Lawson Square Infirmary") it was all very pleasant!

Mine came on Saturday.  Smiley

Apart from the tracks on Australian Melodrama I'm new to all of 'Treeless Plain' and 'Beautiful Waste And Other Songs' but it's been well worth the wait...

All sound great and 'Field Of Glass' is awesome, I'd loved to have experienced that live. I'm quite taken with the sparse LSI, not what I was expecting at all.

The Black Swan was always a masterpiece in my eyes but with the restored tracks it really flys. Even 'Can't Help Falling In Love' makes sense in context. Have yet to listen to the demo versions but I'll remedy that tonight.

As ever packaging and sleeve notes are excellent! Well done to all involved.

Nothing in Prague yet. But maybe if I check the mail a third time today?

I thought they would have reached me by now (I live in Aberdeen, Scotland) since I got an email on Wednesday saying they'd been dispatched. My mail came through the letterbox today and nothing, but then I thought "If they're all packaged together they might not fit through the letterbox, so may they'll come later on today in a wee parcel". Fingers crossed that they'll be waiting for me when I get back from uni today.

My extra loaded parcel found its way through the office letterbox (widescreen format) today. haven't had a playing opporunity since, but they look and read well. Thanks to all concerned. I expect that everyone's copies'll be landing imminently if not already, letterbox dimensions and postman perseverance permitting.

Mine have just arrived too. Nice to see the portrait outer sleeves still in place for these releases, I take it the idea was a success.

Now to go and listen to them... Raining Pleasure first I think.

Glad to hear this batch is reaching the movers and shakers over there. It's the biggest slice of wide ranging musical history I've ever been (held) responsible for. Hope it gives you all many hours of considered listening pleasure.
Now for the website. I know - it's in dire need of updating.

My first posting on any forum like this, never mind the Trffids one so please excuse if this looks a bit basic compared to most others' presentations!

Just had to offer my heartiest congratulations to all involved in this re-issue series which is truly excellent. My batch of 3xCD arrived about an hour ago and I'm just coming to the end of the first Black Swan disk - Has Christmas come late, or very early?

One very very minor quibble: pages 2-3 and 18-19 of The Black Swan booklet are virtually unreadable (Sorry GLee, this includes your intro!). Is this just mine; in which case I'll contact Domino to exchange - or is it common to all?

Regards, and happy listening, to all.

What's wrong with a nice little stroll to the record shop?

The record shop around the corner is not called Domino, therefore they do not hold my re-issues pre-order in stock. And a nice little stroll to the record shop is of course just my daily routine, but I've had it already today Wink

They should have them by the end of the week.
I'm gonna miss them them when they've all gone.
