« on: June 22, 2006, 04:53:18 AM »
feel free to let me know specific shops and towns you'd expect to find BSD in and it's not and so  i'll nudge people from my end to correct the situation

Visited FNAC and Mediamarkt (2 biggest multimedia stores) in Brussels today, but still no sign of BSD.

i got told today that the album charted in belgium - very good in that we have definitely experienced stock supply problems.
think it made 61 in the combined charts - or something like that...

I absolutely don't know how all that "chart stuff" works and how important those listings may be, but let's enjoy these numbers anyway!
Ultratop 50 StuBru 8 July 2006 (I think that must be based on the results of sales in a certain segment of the market and not of the whole Belgian record selling spectrum...)

Right, don't get a too optimistic opinion about Belgian musical taste. The StuBru list is of course a more alternative top. The listings also seem to be made up per region (different ones for Flanders and Wallonia)
But wow :o this must then be the overall popular list for Flanders and Born Sandy is in it too :o
Ultratop 50 Albums 8 July 2006 (first week - new entry)
(I do advice to close your eyes over some titles there and please don't ask me to shed a broader light on certain "talents". Me Manuel me know nothing :-X)

I was thinking about posting these very lines here just after the Hasselt events, because a stock of some 30 BSDs was already there at that very moment. Come to think of it: perhaps the Evenings with The Triffids and the London Plaque Unveiling were just an excuse for Alsy, Graham, Jill, Martyn and Rob to distribute all BSD reissue copies themselves? ;)
Has the Triffids got to my daisy??? (a random quote from the Gardening in Oz forum)
