Residents stricken all dumb and mute
Locked inside while drunkards puke
Sprinklers, bambi, foreshore, Broadway
Pizza, tennis, Crawley Bay

Like Virgin Mary meek and mild
Middle classes unreviled
Lunch bunch, nazis, kamikazis
Fail to impress bourgeoisie

Nedlands nights are safe and warm
Walking on the Nedlands lawn
No wildness to take your place
It's all too bad that you can't take space
